Caridad Svich (Playwright) received the 2012 OBIE for Lifetime Achievement, 2011 American Theatre Critics Association Primus Prize for The House of the Spirits,based on Isabel Allende’s novel, 2013 Edgerton New Play Award for Guapa, and an NNPN rolling world premiere for RED BIKE. Her works in English and Spanish have been produced internationally. She is founder of NoPassport theatre alliance and press, and is associate editor ofContemporary Theatre Review for Routledge UK. Joan Lipkin is an internationally recognized theatre artist and social activist and an expert on rapid response theatre. She has contributed to or produced several national projects including Every 28 Hours, After Orlando and Climate Change Theatre Action. Some of her awards include the Bravely Award, ATHE Award for Leadership in Community-based Theatre and Civic Engagement, Ethical Humanist of the Year, Visionary Award, Arts Innovator of the Year, and a Woman of Achievement.
